Christen Routh, NCC

Christen helps clients build a purpose-driven life. Her work is motivated by a strong conviction that life is intended to be lived in relationship with others. As a National Certified Counselor, Christen takes a tailored approach to each client; modalities include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with a person-centered lens. Christen is committed to helping clients identify and change thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to emotional distress arising from anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. These can be connected to physical issues like chronic pain, insomnia, and addiction. A holistic approach to therapy recognizes that emotional well-being is deeply interconnected with physical, spiritual, and social health.

Christen holds a master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and a Masters in Consulting from Villanova University. Christen is currently working under supervision while pursuing her Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification in Pennsylvania. She lives with her husband and children in Bucks County where they serve as a foster family and are active in their faith community. Christen enjoys writing, traveling, and learning. She holds a deep clinical interest in treating addiction (technology, achievement, and work.)
